Yes, the relection on the water was actually this color. This photo was taken in Maine and I have yet to find such a beautiful combination of colors (including boats) during my photographic hunts. This is one of my favorite photos because of both color and composition.

This mill is a classic West Virginia scene on calendars and tourist brochures. I aimed for something different and got lucky. As you will see, it was a very windy day that worked in my favor (the blurring of the leaves). I think it adds a unique touch. One of favorite photos from WV.

Great Falls is a place that can be photographed at all different times of the year with different results. This was taken on a cold day in 2005.

I think this photograph captures the essence of the Maritime Provinces. When I saw the scene, I knew it would be perfect--almost as if someone set it all up for me.
